Romulus and Remus in Veii
Much has been written Classics about the relationship between early Rome Etruscans, from scholarly articles to secondary school textbooks. Inspired part by recent research archaeogenetics, this article argues for feasibility of an approach which sees its northern neighbours as political subsystems same cultural unit instead interacting separate entities. As example that, if one reads archaeological material Veii, Etruscan city neighbouring Rome, Roman origin stories transmitted Latin literature products culture (temporarily disregarding linguistic-ethnic divide two cities that became so important later on), can shed light on vast scale possible interpretations could develop both directions.

Foundational ontology mediation in ROMULUS
An approach for semantic interoperability among heterogeneous systems is to assist with the integration of foundational ontologies. In order to achieve this, we have selected three popular foundational ontologies DOLCE, BFO, and GFO, and their related modules. We perform ontology mediation (alignment, mapping, and merging) on these ontologies by aligning their ontology entities using tools, doc...
متن کاملThe Foundational Ontology Library ROMULUS
A purpose of a foundational ontology is to solve interoperability issues among domain ontologies and they are used for ontologydriven conceptual data modelling. Multiple foundational ontologies have been developed in recent years, and most of them are available in several versions. This has re-introduced the interoperability problem, increased the need for a coordinated and structured compariso...
متن کاملRomulus and Remus, two phage isolates representing a distinct clade within the Twortlikevirus genus, display suitable properties for phage therapy applications.
The renewed interest in controlling Staphylococcus aureus infections using their natural enemies, bacteriophages, has led to the isolation of a limited number of virulent phages so far. These phages are all members of the Twortlikevirus, displaying little variance. We present two novel closely related (95.9% DNA homology) lytic myoviruses, Romulus and Remus, with double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) gen...
متن کاملThe ROMULUS resource for using foundational ontologies
Foundational ontologies (FOs) provide general entities that aid in ontology development to facilitate modelling, improve interoperability among domain ontologies, and they have been shown [2] to improve the quality of domain ontologies. There are several hurdles to their uptake, however, including (i) ontology developers face great difficulty understanding the FOs philosophical notions and enti...
متن کامل[Twins in nature, science, and society].
Rome is certainly one of the places in the world which speaks to us of twins more than any other, and, in Rome itself, the Gapitoline Hall of the Horatii and Guriatii triplets. From the myth of Romulus and Remus, history gradually passes through the tale of the triplets from Rome and Albalonga, who prevented a bigger war, up to the memory of the Emperor-philosopher Marcus Aurelius, who had twin...
